is situated just a few yards from the sea front in Polruan.
Polruan is just across the Fowey River from Fowey. Fowey is a
bustling place in the summer with lots of restaurants and shops:
Polruan is much quieter and more relaxed. Children play on the
village beach and it is a genuinely welcoming place to visitors. Polruan hasn’t suffered any commercialisation and two cars in
Fore Street represent the rush hour.
Polruan is ideal for
children because there are so few cars and they all seem to love
playing on the beach.
Enjoy a cream tea
at Crumpets teashop, or a drink or dinner at The Russell Inn or
The Lugger.
After a busy day
why not unwind with a glass of something cool on the terrace.
We love taking the
ferry across to Fowey for wonderful seafood at Sam’s, Sam’s
Other Place, Little Prussia, or on a special occasion The Old
Quay House or The Marina.
